“It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.” Luke 17:2
Recently I posted a blog regarding two Christian families trapped in Afghanistan with redacted photos and a promise that I will one day show you their eyes. I regret to inform you that
I will not be doing so.
If you didn’t see the post, one family consisted of a father and mother with six daughters and a newborn boy. The other was of two parents and their adult son. All surrendered to Jesus when they visited Pakistan. All are fearing for their lives now. I can not even imagine how a father with six daughters in Afghanistan feels right now let alone how other men could be licking their proverbial chops in hope of having sex with them.
Unfortunately, the only response on my blog was from a sex trafficker in Lahore Pakistan.
He is now following my blog. My old man, the former street scrapper/ US Marine in me wants to rage.
“But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Cor 9:27
In any case, I can not risk sharing anything more publicly and I have unpublished the blog post.
The good news is that I did make a connection with another group in a completely different part of the middle east. Whether or not they will be able to help is anyone’s guess.
To those who answered the call to prayer. Thank you!
Please continue to pray.
